Dakota is the Executive Administrator at NGP Capital. She was born and raised on the Peninsula in the Bay Area, where early exposure to diverse communities and innovative industries helped shape her values around connection, service, and purpose-driven work.

Though she began her studies in business administration and software engineering, she discovered her true passion in service—particularly through hospitality, administration, and cultivating workplace culture.With over six years of experience in the venture capital industry as an executive assistant and office manager, Dakota brings a thoughtful, people-first approach to operations and team support, helping organizations run smoothly while fostering environments where individuals can thrive.

Beyond the office, Dakota actively contributes to youth- and community-focused initiatives through organizations like The Mosaic Project and Project Invent. Her creativity and curiosity extend into the kitchen, where she experiments with baking and continues to refine her sourdough craft—a personal practice in patience, process, and growth.
