Michelle Yi

Michelle Yi joined NGP Capital in 2025 as a Portfolio Analyst. She is responsible for portfolio data integrity, reporting, and analytics, supporting decision-making across investment teams, finance, and LP relations.

Prior to joining NGP, Michelle was an Economic Analyst at Visa Inc., where she covered the U.S. and worked with all different types of clients ranging from banks, merchants, and different fintechs. Michelle also sat on the consulting team at Visa Inc, primarily working with banks.  

Michelle received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Cinema Studies from the University of Chicago. She is also a Bay Area native. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys staying active, spending time with her family and friends, and trying to binge as many movies and tv shows as possible.
