Tori Orr

Tori Orr joined NGP Capital in 2025 and is a Senior Associate on the U.S. investment team, exploring opportunities across all of NGP’s focus areas with a special interest in deep tech.

Prior to NGP, Tori held early-stage investing roles at JetBlue Ventures, Vera Equity, Harlem Capital, and Dorm Room Fund. She began her career at Intel, where she worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer in Assembly & Test Technology Development and later as a Product Manager in Data Center Supply. She also contributed to the launch of the Model 3 during her time at Tesla.

Tori earned an MBA from The Wharton School, a B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a B.S. in Mathematics from Spelman College. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, weightlifting, and listening to live music.
